Job Description

Impossible Foods was founded to transform the global food system and reduce the impact of climate change by making the world’s most delicious, nutritious, and sustainable meat, fish, and dairy — from plants. We’re building a rockstar team of brilliant, collaborative, mission-driven individuals who take pride in using their diverse skills to contribute to saving our planet.
Want to join the movement? You can help us solve the most urgent, important challenge facing the world today (and have fun doing it).
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and mission-aligned Senior Program Coordinator to join the Sensory & Perceptual Research Team.
The primary responsibility for this role is to coordinate, design, and execute external consumer tests to aid in new product and formulation development. This candidate will work cross-functionally with project teams in creating new products, guiding ballot development and working with external test sites to execute research studies, analyze and interpret data results, and use flexibility and adaptability to quick project changes. Overall, we want a colleague who can contribute ideas, generate solutions, and coordinate tests with logistics excellence.

You Will:

  • Be the testing coordinator on projects that result in the creation of new delicious and nutritious plant-based meat products.
  • Support business initiatives through the use of existing and new testing methodologies.
  • Analyze and interpret data results, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams, as appropriate.
  • Organize testing dates, samples, shipments, instructions between IF and external site staff.
  • Identify process improvements, update SOPs, and manage research plans.
  • Support S&P or cross-functional team projects and programs as needed.

You Have:

  • Minimum BS in Neurobiology, Experimental Psychology, Sensory Evaluation, Food Science, Marketing, Biochemistry or related field with 2+ years of experience.
  • Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this role.
  • Passion for creating new products that meet consumers needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong, creative and collaborative problem solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and show flexibility with last-minute changes.
  • Experience with designing tests, data analysis, and communicating test results to cross-functional audiences.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
