This position will help directly support the Department of Energy’s (DOE) office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) marine energy foundational R&D portfolio. Information on the Foundational R&D portfolio can be found in the WPTO Multiyear Program Plan (MYPP) found here (https://www.energy.gov/sites/default/files/2022-03/wpto-mypp-2022-1.pdf), beginning on page 93. This position involves activities, including, but not limited to, Funding Opportunity Announcements, project management, and technical support for competitively selected cooperative agreements. Support involves daily interactions with internal parties such as legal, contracting, NEPA, and communications, as well as external communication with project recipients in academia, private industry, and National Laboratories.
