Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

As OVO moves closer to 5m customers, our Lifetime Value team (LTV) is responsible for ensuring we improve our relationships with customers. This is core to OVO’s ambition to be Britain’s decarbonisation partner - helping us better understand our customers and support real time interaction management to strengthen the value of our relationship. LTV helps communicate and engage with our existing customer base through designing to suit our members needs using personalised, relevant and timely communications, underpinned by Customer Strategies.

This central role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager.

What will I be doing?

You will build and deliver projects that support the LTV team, generating marketing activity in line with business objectives. Working alongside Marketing Managers, you will be responsible for the development and execution of
Marketing campaigns across various channels. Ideally you’ll have some Marketing experience but ultimately a keen appetite to grow and develop.

Key responsibilities include:

● Support Marketing Managers with the development of insight driven Customer and Contact Strategies to align with business objectives
● Work with Marketing Managers to ensure marketing strategies have been reviewed and approved by the LTV team
● Work with our internal creative studio and external partners to ensure timely delivery of impactful creative (including briefing and reviewing copy and design)
● Collaborating closely with Communication Automation and Analytics team to build effective marketing journeys in Salesforce
● Own the complete end-to-end delivery of tactical marketing campaigns
● Measure weekly performance of activity
● Budget Management: Build POs and update budget tracker for smaller ad hoc activity
● Collaborating closely with other teams to ensure marketing activity is optimised across different channels in the business
● Keeping abreast if marketing industry news and trends and sharing with the LTV team 

Do I have what it takes?

  • Ideally, some experience within Marketing, but we're open in hearing from graduates who are looking to move into Marketing and love the idea of being given the opportunity to work on varied projects.
  • Ideally some experience in execution of email and direct mail campaign
  • Willing to learn and adopt a positive ‘can do’ demeanor when approaching projects
  • Enjoys working with different teams and comfortable communicating with different team members
  • Open to new ideas and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Has an appetite to analyse data and trends
  • Can demonstrate examples of taking initiative and ownership of projects
