We are revolutionizing the charging experience for both building owners and drivers with Charging as a Service.

EV drivers reserve charging at the push of a button. Behind the scenes, each building’s dedicated movable battery charges the cars wherever they are parked delivering 40-60km of range with a 5 minute charge.

During building off hours we enable asset managers to profit from their unused garage assets by offering charging services to non-tenants.

About the role

nectar is looking for our first Operations Manager to devise and execute the overall operational strategy.

We are looking for a hands-on builder to help us build and scale nectar’s EV charging services across North America. This is an exciting opportunity to help create a new business that is at the intersection of real estate, electric vehicles, and logistics.

In this role, you will help take this business from 0 to 1, including early stage experimentation to find product market fit, ensuring that landlords, electric vehicle drivers and battery operators are having the best possible charging experience.

You will be responsible for the operational and financial metrics of electric vehicle charging at offices across North America.

You are a generalist who loves building teams and processes, loves ambiguity and is willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make the business successful.

What You’ll Do

• Strategise – Devise and execute the overall operational strategy for winning the EV charging market in multi tenant buildings across North America
• Influence – Work cross-functionally to improve the driver, landlord and battery operator experience
• Own Operations - You will be responsible for ensuring the success of new and innovative logistics solutions that enable use to better service drivers and landlords while scaling
• Analyze – Build analysis to understand strengths and weaknesses, competitive pressures and opportunity areas
• Experiment – Use a data-driven approach and marketplace knowledge to identify improvement opportunities, run tests, and make our business 1% better everyday
