Job Brief

As Chief of Staff to the CTO, you will provide crucial organizational and time management support, enabling the CTO and Technical Team to perform their work efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with the CTO, lab services team, operations team, and others across the organization to build process, actively problem solve, drive the team and organizational alignment, and maximize efficiencies to achieve company milestones. No two days will look exactly alike within this fast-paced organization, but your expertise will help guide scheduling, project management, external coordination, and a variety of other tasks.

What you will do

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and triage team priorities, with an eye for building sustainable processes  
  • Manage, draft, and finesse communications for specific projects and events 
  • Partner with the CTO’s EA to directly manage her ever-changing schedule, ensuring alignment with current needs and priorities
  • Organize and facilitate meetings on the CTO’s behalf when needed
  • Identify opportunities for team events and coordinate their execution  
  • Organize agenda items, take notes, track action items for recurring meetings, a facilitate as needed 
  • Help prepare communications for internal and external meetings, events, and conferences
  • Assistance with travel arrangements and trip planning (conference, events, etc.)
  • Organize and facilitate logistics for external visitors
  • Special projects & other responsibilities as needed
