Community Solar Manager

The Cambridge-based Community Solar Manager will lead our small but powerful and growing CS team and have ownership over all aspects of community solar customer marketing, acquisition, and management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Manage and lead Sunwealth’s Community Solar team focused on customer acquisition and management, partner engagement and daily operations for a high-impact portfolio of Community Solar projects
•    Work closely with Sunwealth’s Project Development, Asset Management, and Project Finance teams to scale its Community Solar portfolio across multiple geographies
•    Direct research and analysis on current and new markets to support the expansion of Sunwealth's Community Solar portfolio
•    Develop and execute Sunwealth’s Community Solar customer acquisition and management strategies, including managing Sunwealth’s third-party acquisition and management partners.
•    Track, measure and report on project and portfolio performance, controlling data flow for impact reporting, financial statements, and daily operations of the portfolio
•    Serve in an outward-facing role across Sunwealth’s multiple Community Solar client and partner groups

DESIRED TRAITS/QUALIFICATIONS

•    Bachelor's Degree 
•    2+ years’ experience in management, operations, business administration or other similar commercial roles
•    Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, take initiative, set priorities, and execute projects through to completion
•    Ability to manage complex business issues and clearly articulate outcomes, concerns and solutions while working with cross functional teams to achieve overall business objectives
•    Proficient with all MS Office programs, particularly Excel 
•    Commitment to serving and providing the benefits of renewable energy to low and moderate-income communities
•    Demonstrated interest in renewable energy, ESG & impact investing and/or combatting climate change
•    Experience with asset management and community solar operations is a plus
