wasted* is seeking a cross-functional Growth & BD Associate to drive forward initiatives in sales, customer development, partnerships, and strategic planning.
This role will lead core initiatives to drive the company’s immediate growth in Burlington VT - building and managing a sales pipeline, developing customer relationships, and assuring that the company's sales quotas are being hit.
Additionally, this role will work closely with the executive team to develop long term growth and sales strategies - conducting market research, analyzing customer insights, and identifying and pursuing additional business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals
Identify and qualify new customers and distribution channels
Help manage key client relationships and strategic partnerships, and work to build new ones to increase lead generation and market share.
Drive forward customer research & track emerging trends to inform sales and marketing strategy.
Develop standardized outreach for current and future clients and coordinate its implementation across sales channels, client management, and marketing and communications
Collaborate to design and implement targeted marketing campaigns to drive sustainable growth and promote the company’s products and services.
Originate and report key performance indicators monthly to the broader management team.
Present business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
Stay well-connected with customers to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycle
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years’ sales, business development, marketing, or related role
Preferably, experience in construction and/or equipment procurement
Customer focused personality, comfortable using critical reasoning and judgment to make good decisions in a fast-paced environment
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, including a demonstrated proactive work ethic. As part of a lean and dynamic team, the candidate must be able to plan, oversee, and personally execute numerous projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and adjust to changing priorities.
