THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and at the heart of Zoomo core supply chain team, you will play a pivotal role in Zoomo’s success. You will be responsible for Zoomo entire supply chain planning: material planning, purchasing and freight from Asia to the rest of the world. You will own day-to-day relationships with all Zoomo suppliers: vehicle, battery packs, spare parts, IoT and others. You will also build strong relationships with Zoomo regional teams aligning planning and managing exception/urgent requests in a timely fashion. You will also be responsible for the timely synchronization of new product introductions. It is a one of a kind opportunity to bring Zoomo’s planning function to the next level.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop supply plans against forecasts for suppliers to procure, manufacture and ship against maintaining Zoomo prescribed stock levels.
  • Coordinate the outbound supply of materials from Asia and transports to Zoomo locations globally via sea or air, with Zoomo logistics team.
  • Own daily supplier relationship & review open POs for potential changes to ensure volume coverage to supplied forecasts whilst providing timely communication to management & regional teams of any supply delays so impacts and/or alternative resolutions can be managed.
  • Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships with a focus on accurate information and timely resolution
  • Coordinate custom clearance and receipt of goods of any imported inward shipments globally with logistics team, regional teams & custom broker
  • Collect and treat timely exceptions to planning in close collaboration with Zoomo regional teams: urgent material request, warranty return or change to plan linked to quality issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a time critical supply chain planning role
  • Quantitative and analytical experience, including solid comfort with Excel
  • Proactive, ambitious, and assertive: you take ownership of your work
  • Experience in importations and knowledge of inventory management are a must
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/business/agribusiness/supply chain
  • Effective communication skills in dealing with different levels of stakeholders
  • Previous experience working an ERP system (Netsuite, SAP) and exposure to BI tools a big plus
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
