SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking an individual to join us to assist our partners with administrative work tied to outreach, coordinate outreach events, and serve as a liaison to the communities we serve.  We are seeking to better serve low-income communities where Nexamp is present.  This individual will work closely with the Director, of Community Partnerships to understand metrics, gauge the effectiveness of our programming, and serve as a local Nexamp employee that can support our partners, conduct in-person outreach, seek new partnerships, and provide feedback from the ground back to the Marketing team.

This role is part-time, for a duration of 6 months.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist outreach partners with administrative work required to carry out coordinated outreach with Nexamp, such as printing, postage, mailing, and document management
  • Provide interested households with information about community solar, Nexamp, and other related resources
  • Assist outreach partners with follow-up to eligible households
  • Research and execute local outreach opportunities, including events, partnership, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Track progress of outreach activities and customer enrollment and provide updates to manager as requested
  • Serve as a liaison for community and partner needs, interests, and feedback

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in community organizing or community outreach​, canvassing, or sales where tabling or door-to-door was required
  • Comfortable with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint​
  • Ability to clearly communicate new or complex concepts​ to a general audience
  • Experience requiring excellent communication and organization skills
  • Undergraduate degree preferred but not required or equivalent work experience
  • Valid and current Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel locally 50-75% of time
