Data Analyst

About the role

As a Data Analyst working for Afresh, you will be exposed to teams across the organization, working with large scale partners and tackling real world problems as we continue to reduce food waste at the grocery level! We are looking for an individual who will play a vital part in order for the Analytics Team to properly scale as Afresh grows. This role has the opportunity to both improve your technical analytics skills and will have exposure to cross functional positioning working with multiple teams in the company.

• Build out proactive dashboards and resources to enable self-service analytics for Go-to-Market (GTM) teams
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across Afresh Engineering and Commercial teams
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Customer Support, and Sales to deliver impactful reporting to external partners
• Lead cross functional trainings for commercial teams - enabling better partner communication 
• Plan, create, and maintain technical documentation that serves Afresh’s internal engineering and commercial audiences
• Learn about analytics in the sustainability space! 

Skills and experience

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics or similar, relevant practical field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of work experience in data analytics
• Comfortable working with BI Analytic tooling (e.g, Mode, Snowflake, etc)
• Strong SQL and Excel experience required
• Git experience is preferred
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and push back when necessary
• Demonstrates comfortability handling incidents
• Experience working with customer facing teams is preferred
• Familiarity with retail space is a plus
