Job Description:
Atomo is currently seeking an experienced Deductions Specialist. You are an expert in your field, understand the importance and excitement of working in a start-up environment, and are flexible and adaptable. As a critical member of the Finance team, you will bring strong tactical, analytical, relationship-building and communication skills to the table, reporting directly to the CFO. The Deductions Specialist will operate across many departments, supporting the Growth and Production teams in their respective sales and supply chain functions while engaging with external 3PL WMS partners, broker agencies, and retailers.
What You’ll Do
Administer customer tracking, invoicing, and collections operations
Manage partner deductions, fees, discounts, damages, returns, and disputes
Implement customer credit management controls and processes, including defining payment terms,
remittance methods, and credit limits
Interface with internal and external customers to resolve invoice discrepancies and past-due accounts
Perform period-end accounting activities, including orders and payments tracking, account
reconciliations, and financial reporting
Develop, track, and report on critical controls, input metrics, and OKRs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in financial customer service or a related field
Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent
Preferred Skill and Qualifications:
Proficient using MS Excel
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with finance systems and tools, including Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar CRM and ERP
products
Previous CPG / Retail accounting experience
Additional Details:
Pay Range: DOE $65,000-80,000 + Equity
