About Gridium

Gridium is a venture-backed SaaS application provider with a mission to bring cost-effective energy savings to commercial real estate. We have been delivering deep energy savings to our customers for 10 years and we are now growing faster than ever due to increasing demand for real energy solutions.

We have been an all-remote company since our founding, and we love the fact that remote work gives us flexibility to balance our roles as employees, parents, family members, or however else we round out our time. Of course, spending time face-to-face is important, so once a quarter we pick a city and meet up for several days of highly productive and highly fun planning and doing.

We have a casual, cooperative work environment where everyone’s ideas matter. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Requirements

  • Significant (4+ years) prior work experience in Energy Management, Sustainability, Facilities Engineering or Commercial Real Estate. Other relevant roles will also be considered.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience in Customer Success or Account Management
  • Strong business acumen and judgment and ability to negotiate account expansion. The position will be partly measured on revenue goals from retention and expansion
  • Ability to travel monthly to visit in person with customers
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) and Office / Google Apps (particularly Excel / Sheets)
  • Prior experience with energy and or financial spreadsheet modeling
  • Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree in a relevant area preferred
  • You must currently live in, and have the legal right to work in the United States

Benefits

The position comes with a base salary in the range of $80-100k based on prior experience, a generous commission policy that can significantly increase compensation above the base salary (~+20%), an equity grant, a 401(k) with 4% match, a great health plan, vision, dental, generous parental leave, and a flexible vacation policy — we want you to take the time off you need so that you are happy and productive.
