The Director, SIOP and Purchasing will provide leadership, direction and coordination for Global Demand, Supply, Inventory Planning and Purchasing activities. You will develop, manage, and enhance planning and purchasing processes by adopting suitable systems, technology and industry best practices that support Rad Power Bikes DTC business requirements.  

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • Responsible for global demand, supply, inventory and purchasing plans development and deployment through collaboration with the Supply Chain, Product Development, Finance, Channel Leaders and Suppliers
  • Identified and implemented continuous improvement projects to improve planning and purchasing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provided leadership, direction, and coordination for SIOP and purchasing activities across the business units.
  •  Developed, managed and coached demand planners, purchasing agents and enabled the professionals to grow and develop in their career. 

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required). Preferred fields include Supply Chain, Operations, Statistics, and Business Management
  • 10- 15 years of experience in related discipline and with managing teams of professionals.
  • Hands-on experience in systems and technology to support on supply planning, such as material planning, production planning, and inventory optimization
  • NetSuite, Oracle, SAP system and supply chain implementation experience is a plus
  • Managing remote teams, cultivating new leaders and mentoring professionals allowing for growth and advancement in their careers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop deep understanding of business drivers and the interrelationship    with supply chain performance, and to independently, creatively apply analytics capabilities against        against the highest priorities
  • Outstanding presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global, remote matrixed organization
  • Excellent project management capabilities to develop multiple project streams and complexity and managed cross-functional team to deliver results according to project plan.
