Job Description

Twelve is a new kind of chemical company built for the climate era. Our breakthrough technology eliminates emissions by turning CO2 into essential products. We are a team of scientists, engineers and problem solvers on a mission to fundamentally shift the way the world addresses climate change and lead the transition to a fossil free future with our carbon transformation technology.

Team Overview

The Chemistry Characterization Team at Twelve is composed of chemists, materials scientists, and chemical engineers that work cross-functionally to provide materials design solutions that greatly improve the performance of our electrolyzer system. Characterization of catalyst material produced in-house at Twelve is crucial to our synthesis method development. We collaborate closely with the Twelve Catalyst Team to ensure that our in-house catalyst meets quality standards, and we accomplish this by analyzing our nanoparticle samples using Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM) at the National Center for Electron Microscopy (NCEM) in Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
