Job Brief

The Productization group seeks to develop innovative manufacturing processes and automation tools to establish Twelve as a world leader in carbon transformation. It is composed of several different teams focused on different aspects of engineering, manufacturing, new product introduction, quality, and customer deployments of our CO2 conversion systems.

The Procurement Team at Twelve is looking for a Manager of Inventory Analytics to establish inventory control programs. The ideal candidate would be someone who has set up inventory tracking systems in a start-up environment leveraging industry best practices. They’re equally comfortable developing processes from the ground up as they are refining existing systems. Familiarity with materials and components supporting our engineering, stack development, R&D, and productization teams.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement processes for inventory management, including Twelve's inventory control system.
  • Input inventory into ERP systems like Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP, and/or Oracle.
  • Manage receiving and materials handling team members.
  • Actively work with team members to identify appropriate min and max material inventory levels, organize logical parts identification and storage, regularly audit these levels and interact with external vendors and internal procurement personnel.
  • Match completed work orders to invoices for accounts payable.
  • Cross-reference equipment manufacturer part numbers with vendor part/item numbers.
  • Setup bins, shelving and organize storage tracking systems for all components for engineering and development teams.
  • Transfer inventory from main storage areas to work areas to maintain workflow.
  • Own the organizing and maintaining of purchase orders, work requests and associated files.
  • Experience performing physical count, cycle count, and audit procedures in line with industry best practices.

Who You Are

  • Bachelors or Masters in Operations Management or evidence of exceptional experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Experience with control and management of hazardous materials
  • Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience setting up inventory systems and procedures from scratch.
  • Experience communicating to peers, hourly associates, senior management, and cross-functional partners regarding maintenance, inventory, and cost control.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Some physical lifting and moving of materials required
  • Experience in a fast paced, startup environment
  • Experience using Excel, Slack, Google Drive, Microsoft tools, Sharepoint
