Job Brief

We are currently embarking on a new chapter at Twelve. As we look to expand our manufacturing facilities we are looking to grow the Quality Assurance team.

The Quality Assurance team, which is part of the Productization org at Twelve, manages processes verifying the predetermined services and specified requirements. The QA team assists in bridging the process across cross-functional teams.  We are the positive regulators validating the desired expectations to ensure Twelve's technological advantages remain sustainable.

The Productization group seeks to develop innovative new manufacturing processes and automation tools to establish Twelve as a world leader in carbon transformation. It is composed of several different teams focused on different aspects of engineering, manufacturing, new product introduction, quality, and customer deployments of our CO2 conversion systems.

What You Will Do

  • Perform quality engineering tasks and deliverables related to in-house assembly as well as support of fabricated mechanical parts made. 
  • Focus on driving deep understanding of Root Causes and corrective actions within Twelve and with key suppliers. 
  • Work closely with the supplier manufacturing facilities responsible for manufacturing parts for Twelve.
  • Focus on improving manufacturing processes to produce quality products that meet all specifications efficiently.
  • Conduct quality related investigations of manufacturing processes utilizing quality problem solving techniques and advanced statistical techniques such as Lean manufacturing and advanced quality methodology to optimize product performance and reduce process variation.
  • Research and issue Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) tasks for the Productization team to address internal and external quality manufacturing issues.
  • Ensure the root causes are determined properly and verify that corrective actions are complete.
  • Partner with Engineering to develop and initiate methods for inspection, testing, process control and evaluation for mechanical assembly of new products.
  • Perform Internal audits to support ISO9001.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical manufacturing environment as a Quality Engineer
  • Understanding of quality control processes, tools, and inspection techniques such as SPC, DOE, root cause analysis, auditing skills, etc
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and drawings
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and work instructions
  • Ability to effectively present inspection results and respond to questions from assemblers, Engineers and suppliers
  • Math ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several variables at a time
  • Computer skills: Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
