Maintenance Lead

At Spin, we give people the Freedom to Move. Spin Mobility is an essential service that provides shared electric scooters and/or bikes in your area, enabling our customers easy access to safe, reliable transportation.

Our Market Operations team is looking for a Maintenance Lead who loves solving problems, managing a high performing team, and working with the latest hardware in the mobility industry.

You will oversee the repair and maintenance of electric scooters and electric bikes. We have industry-leading training for each service operation.

This is a non-exempt position, with full benefits, paid hourly and eligible for overtime.

Pay Rate up to $23.25/Hr full-time ( Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities

  • Train and lead a team of Maintenance Specialists
  • Stay accountable to your Backlog Dashboard and ensure the team is safely meeting Repair productivity targets
  • Maintain a culture of organization and workplace safety across Maintenance Specialists’ benches and shifts
  • Ensure processes are uniformly performed across your team
  • Serve as the resident subject matter expert on Spin scooter design & maintenance
  • Oversee parts ordering and inventory management
  • Develop preventative maintenance checks
  • Report performance to Operations Lead or Manager
  • Join a peer group of Spin’s national repair ops leadership
  • Assist with preparation for successful warehouse audits
  • Be the Quality Control gatekeeper for all scooters exiting the Repair area, and proactively perform QC on scooters in charging bays and in the Ready-to-Deploy area

Must Have

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be 18+ years of age with a valid driver's license & two years of driving experience
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills (operating systems, dashboards, and spreadsheets)
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry scooters/e-bikes, related components/parts, and tools weighing up to 80-90 lbs scooters (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Familiarity using various power and hand tools (ie: hoists, grinders, drills, etc.)
  • Ability to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, sit, stand and remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficiency in English (firmly required)

Highly Desired

  • Previous management, warehouse, operations, logistics, or dispatch experience
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize issues
  • Results Oriented, proactive problem solver
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Transportation/Logistics, Business or any STEM field
  • Proactive, communicative orientation and collaboration style
