Job Description

About the role

A successful candidate for the Analyst - Partnerships role will be both deeply analytical as well as creative and entrepreneurial. Supporting the partner ecosystem team, you will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, produce written and verbal internal and external deliverables, and present externally to prospective and existing partners. You will help ensure the highest quality and rigor in partner-facing materials, while playing a vital role in the operations of the partnerships team - ensuring it accurately tracks, adapts to, and meets relevant KPIs. You will bring comfort or expertise in at least one facet of the WeaveGrid solution (e.g., utilities, automotive, software, operations, etc.) but will quickly develop cross-functional expertise and relationships across internal stakeholders. This role can be a pathway to a range of roles including business development, partner success, solutions engineering, and others depending on interest and fit.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support Partnerships team on commercial engagement with key accounts
  • Deliver analyses on a tactical basis (e.g., drive next steps with a given account) and on an ongoing strategic basis (e.g., manage quarterly KPI dashboards)
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on topics relevant to individual partners and the EV charging space more broadly
  • Produce professional documentation and improve/aggregate existing documentation 
  • Maintain and iterate on pitch decks to a variety of stakeholders
  • Build internal and partner-facing Excel models to inform business development 
  • Support and increasingly develop and own BizOps/RevOps processes (e.g., with respect to CRM management)
  • Grow WeaveGrid’s presence among relevant partners and ancillary industry stakeholders, both by engaging externally directly and by setting up partner account managers and company leaders for success in their external engagements
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Policy to achieve joint objectives
  • Build alignment with Utilities team on joint success factors 
  • Bring fresh ideas and creative insights to the Partnerships team and the company

To meet the needs of this role, you will bring
  • Demonstrated track record of empathy, individual initiative, a spirit of inquiry, and solutions-orientation
  • Experience with at least one of the following areas: automotive sector, utilities sector, enterprise SaaS business development, sales enablement, financial modeling, management consulting, energy policy analysis, and/or modern business operations
  • Demonstrated ability to produce professional, externally-facing deliverables
  • Attention to detail and ability to function effectively under time pressure
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and translate between various areas of expertise
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks in response to immediate needs, including transparently communicating constraints and tradeoffs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent work ethic
  • Comfort with remote collaboration tools
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of full-time experience in an analytical and/or client-facing capacity
  • BA/BS, or equivalent experience, required
