Location: London (including hybrid)

Salary: £52,000 - £65,000

Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working? 

You'll be joining the Kaluza Technology community. We’re a large team of both data-led and product focused Software and Production Engineers, pushing the boundaries of technology and working at an extraordinary scale. As a collective we strive for engineering greatness and by ensuring best practices across the board of the community.

What will I be doing? 

Provide first class customer service and support to Kaluza’s Internal Customers. You will be supporting the rest of Colleague Tech with escalated support where more senior technical skill is required. We are an entirely new team, and while we are still growing you will be expected to be in the office when required until we have the sufficient team around you to support our London office. You will also be required to step in for our analyst role temporarily when cover is needed. 

You will be building, training and maintaining processes for our team as well as continuous improvements. You will also be required for improvements made for other teams using Kaluza’s productivity tooling. You will act as technical lead on upcoming projects and will be expected to find solutions for requirements set by project stakeholders.

  • Enthusiastic, professional, customer-orientated individual from a multi-site background
  • Skilled in Google WorkSpace, hardware, workstation, client-server operating systems, application and network support in a service desk environment
  • Deployment, creation and administration of virtual machines
  • Google Directory , synchronisation, replication and deployment
  • Remote Desktop Services/Terminal Server (troubleshooting, issues and setup)
  • Slack administrative experience
  • Atlassian administrative experience. You will be expected to build robust, agile and lean solutions for the wider Kaluza teams
  • Microsoft Office support and administration.
  • LAN & WANs, TCP/IP, DHCP, Wi-Fi, DNS, VPN, switching, routing
  • Application support 

What will your role as a Colleague Tech Engineer look like? 

  • Own and manage our Jira Service Desk, managing call queues within SLAs and resolve escalated technical issues in a professional manner. You will be required to support our front line queues temporarily when required 
  • Help other areas at Kaluza improve our productivity tooling with improvements and new requirements 
  • Administer our productivity tooling 
  • Help build our brand at Kaluza by being awesome 
  • Keep colleagues fully informed of progress at every stage with quality service 
  • Technical ownership of project delivery
  • Create technical documentation to enhance and improve knowledge-base
  • Potentially undertake out-of-hours support and on-site support in a rota
