Job Overview

The Account Coordinator is responsible for enhancing SCS' Flooring Services client portfolio and overall client experience. Primary responsibilities include supporting the flooring team and clients by tracking projects throughout the certification process with strong attention to detail and professional communication skills, both internally and externally.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supports flooring certification projects from initiation through final client deliverables in support of Account Managers, Auditors, and Program Manager
  • Process Private Label initial and renewal client applications, work orders, invoices, and inquiries ensuring accuracy and timely response
  • Manage and complete final Deliverable for Certification Assessments timely based on expiration and Auditor reports
  • Support and maintain strong, long term relationships with clients, GPC, Europe, India
  • Support for Resolution of client issues and/or complaints
  • Organize and maintain client files and documentation, assist in development and maintenance of program procedures, protocols
  • Willingness to be proactive and work beyond job responsibilities to improve existing systems
  • Interface with technical staff (remote & internal) to ensure timely service delivery
  • Provide support and insight to the Marketing and Sales Teams
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of each certification program supported
  • Revenue flow comprehension
  • Maintain GPG and update as necessary for client request and Data changes
  • Support team account managers to balance work load

Qualifications

• Strong communication abilities and demonstrated abilities in critical analysis
• Ability to complete time-sensitive projects and to provide realistic deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail required
• Initiative and ability to work independently; responsive and adaptive to team environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a relevant field
• 1+ years’ experience in customer service, project coordination, or similar experience
• Experience using MS Office Suite, CRM and online business tools
• Excellent relationship building skills as well as project organizational techniques and tools
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Physical Requirements

Sit 6+ hours per day. Keyboarding 6+ hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen in person and on the phone.
