Antora Energy's thermal energy storage soaks up excess solar and wind electricity and uses it to heat blocks of carbon so they glow like inside a toaster (but very bright!). This thermal energy is then delivered to customers as electricity or industrial process heat up to 1500°C, on demand. In short, Antora Energy turns sunshine and wind into 24/7 heat and power, cheaper than fossil fuels.

Position Summary

This is a customer-facing role to accelerate the commercialization of our thermal energy storage product.  Work within a lean business development team to refine and execute on our go-to-market strategy.  This position provides a unique opportunity to re-invent industrial energy and drive deep decarbonization in one of the highest emitting sectors of the economy. This position is 100% remote.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development and delivery of project proposals for specific customers
  • Build and oversee internal customer relationship management
  • Educate customers and industry groups on Antora and its competitive advantages
  • Lead exploratory discussions with existing or prospective customers to determine market fit, size, and readiness for Antora’s technology solutions
  • Aid in the development of Antora’s near and long-term market strategy
  • Identify new market opportunities and support the development of the product development roadmap
  • Field inbound commercial interest

Key Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of Business Development experience
  • Experience in a customer facing role, industrial energy experience required
  • Experience with energy markets and energy technology trends
  • A creative and collaborative mentality with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing changing priorities and shift focus based on the needs of the business
  • Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously, with varying complexities and urgencies presented day to day
  • Customer focused mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present and influence key stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-starter and highly motivated individual
