We are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer for our Vehicle Security team. This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record of developing security controls in embedded systems. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
 


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership.
  • Contribute to technical requirements, design and test specifications.
  • Design and development of security controls software in real-time embedded environment.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to review and improve application code.
  • Communicate embedded cyber security concepts to internal teams.
  • Develop and lead execution of test plans and strategies.
  • Contribute to threat modelling and technical feasibility studies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in design and development of embedded system controls.
  • Sound knowledge of security and cryptography techniques and fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure.
  • Experience in threat modeling and attack analysis.
  • Knowledge to utilize hardware-aided security functions.
  • Strong embedded OS fundamentals.
  • Proven record of creating technical specification and test plans.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages (C/C++).
  • Experience in embedded automotive control systems is a plus.
