Lucid Motors is looking for a Quality Operating System (QOS) Coach to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment where you will work with highly motivated teams that are dedicated to world-class quality standards on extremely challenging projects. The QOS Coach will work with a cross-functional teams teaching and assuring a flawless execution of all our quality procedures. The QOS Coach will create, modify & update all quality documents in a practical way and assure the adherence protecting the company’s image and customer’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain QOS documentation and associated current/forward model procedures
  • Develop a continuous training & coach program for all factory key positions focused on understand and successfully implement quality procedures
  • Support and coordinate internal and external quality audits
  • Develop a plan to continuously improve the quality engineer´s effectiveness
  • Evaluate & modify Control Plans and auditing strategies based on risk assessments and data from the factory and field
  • Monitor, report, and publish quality metrics, as well as presenting data and improvement planning to the factory leadership
  • Perform completed vehicle audits and partner with issue owners on improvement activity 
  • Lead and improve factory detection capability
  • Support prototype builds providing quality validation requirements, assistance in control plan development and identification of build issues.
  • Travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing organization
  • Demonstrated success in the quality field
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
  • Excellent analytical & technical writing abilities and comprehensive understanding of SPC, root cause analysis, GD&T, and control and inspection standards
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
  • Bachelors in Engineering, Masters preferred
  • MBA a plus
