We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Vehicle Security team. This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record in development of security controls in embedded platforms. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to technical requirements, design and test specifications.
  • Design and development of security controls software in real-time embedded environment.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to review and improve application code.
  • Develop and execute test plans.
  • Contribute to threat modelling and technical feasibility studies.
  • Work closely with system, hardware and test engineers throughout the embedded software design and development life cycle.
  • Work with internal software development teams to review application code and identify mitigation techniques.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in design and development of security in embedded systems.
  • Strong embedded OS fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages (C/C++).
  • Knowledge of security and cryptography techniques and fundamentals.
  • Experience in configuring secure boot.
  • Knowledge of ARM Trust Zone and Trusted Execution Environment will be an advantage.
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols is a plus.
