<p style="font-weight: 400;">The electrochemist / electrochemical engineer is responsible for testing the performance of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for <em>Oxylus Energy </em>electrochemical reduction of CO<sub>2</sub> under the range of conditions. As an electrochemist you will be tasked with understanding the core operating&amp; scientific principles that influence the electrochemical performance of our novel reactors. In this role, you will be designing and performing experiments that create improvements for these electrolyzers. Day-to-day tasks involve setting up electrochemical tests and analyzing data to report to project stakeholders, managing various electrochemical tests to consistently produce quality data, and taking part in experimental design.</p>

<li>Perform electrochemical tests and then work up, analyze, and summarize the results</li>
<li>Study failure mechanisms in CO<sub>2</sub> reduction systems</li>
<li>Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain electrochemical test stands</li>
<li>Utilizing experimental data to guide experimental plans</li>
<li>Communicate the status of testing hardware and any issues encountered during experiments</li>
