Reporting to the Director of Operations &amp; Management, the Solar Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and peak performance of our solar energy systems. Additionally, the Solar Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary repairs to keep our solar installations operating efficiently.</div><div> </div><div>The Solar Maintenance Technician will be based in Maryland with occasional travel to Asbury Park, NJ.</div> <h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of solar panels, inverters, and related equipment.</li><li>Identify and diagnose technical issues, such as electrical or mechanical failures, and perform repairs as needed.</li><li>Capture and review thermal imaging during system and property inspections. </li><li>Monitor and analyze system performance data, making adjustments as necessary to optimize energy generation.</li><li>Collaborate with the installation team to ensure new solar projects meet quality and performance standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment status and repairs performed.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>Maintain equipment inventory and work vehicle.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in electrical or renewable energy fields is a plus.</li><li>2+ years industry experience.</li><li>Proven experience in solar panel maintenance or a related field.</li><li>Strong understanding of solar energy systems and components.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and basic wiring.</li><li>Competent and capable with hand power tools.  </li><li>Familiar with multimeters and insulation resistance meter.  IV Curve tracer experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, NABCEP certification</li></ul> <div>Benefits and Perks</div><div> </div><div>Solar Landscape’s company culture is second to none. </div><div>Our 175 employees combine our mission, grit and drive with a rebel’s attitude that’s changing the industry: </div><div>·       Located in the heart of historic Asbury Park, our brand-new, state-of-the-art office space offers flexible workstations encouraging collaboration and movement.  </div><div>·       Employees come together to eat every day!
