Planet Cents is a pre-seed stage, for-profit, global e-Commerce marketplace startup. Our mission: reverse climate change with sustainable purchasing, and make this the norm. <a href="http://www.planetcents.us/">www.PlanetCents.us</a> We are ground floor, needing investors for our platform build.
This role can begin as full-time (preferred,) or part-time if necessary. It will begin as a Consultant under a 3-month contract to ensure a fit, and once that is established, become the CEO. It is virtual to start, eventually transitioning to a central headquarters.
The CEO will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. They will be responsible for making key decisions, alongside the Founder.&nbsp;
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All of the usual responsibilities for a CEO ~ especially those required in launching a ground floor startup.
Depending upon your competencies and skills, and that of our Founder, division, and sharing of responsibilities will be negotiated.

This role begins as an independent contract consultant under a 3-month contract to ensure it is a fit for both the candidate and the company.
The role begins immediately &ndash; preferably full-time, possibly part-time.
A drug test and background check are required.
COMPENSATION:
Initial compensation will be equity, (equity/salary once funded.) The equity will be decided based on several factors, which will not be known until mutual exploratory interviews yield the necessary information to make this decision.

Responsibilities of this position include: <ul><li>Develop manufacturing roadmap and timelines, growing AeroShield’s capabilities from prototyping capacity today to first production facility to support business goals</li><li>Lead, manage, and scale AeroShield’s manufacturing team</li><li>Oversee processes, capacity planning, supply chain, and resource allocation for maximum operational efficiency and cost reduction </li><li>Develop and incorporate operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into all manufacturing processes. </li><li>Direct and participate in workforce planning to meet manufacturing and business goals</li><li>Lead capital projects to expand AeroShield’s manufacturing capabilities:<ol><li>AeroShield is currently building a 12,000 sqft facility that produces up to 15,000 sqft/yr of aerogel sheets, and is targeting moving into this facility in June, 2024.</li><li>AeroShield is planning a Series A manufacturing facility that will produce 280,000 sqft/yr with capability to expand to 1M+ sqft/year, targeting completion mid 2026.</li></ol></li><li>Lead selection and management of external design/build firms to support capital projects</li><li>Leverage networks in manufacturing, chemical processes, and prototyping to solicit advice and help as needed</li></ul>This role includes a combination of tasks that can be done remotely, work that needs to be done on-site, and in-person meetings with on-site team members. VP of Manufacturing
