<h3>About the Technology &amp; Analytics Team</h3>
The Technology and Analytics (TA) team furthers MCE&rsquo;s pursuit to find more innovative solutions to the challenges facing CCAs today. The team uses its deep knowledge of technology and data sciences to provide platforms, systems, and facilities to the wider MCE team so that decision makers can be confident that their choices are backed up by hard data. The TA team is also responsible for all of MCE&rsquo;s operational platforms, from MCE&rsquo;s email system to its CRM platform. TA provides the infrastructure that allows MCE to maintain its operational readiness while also managing cybersecurity threats and the privacy of MCE&rsquo;s customer data.
<h3>As a CRM Analyst</h3>
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of MCE&rsquo;s CRM platform. This includes gathering requirements, designing, and deploying solutions based on best practices of software engineering, tracking and resolving support tickets, training end users and environment and license management.
You&nbsp; will support MCE&rsquo;s CRM platform and work cross-departmentally with MCE CRM users. You will also work with external consultants to ensure that user needs are addressed, and the CRM is updated accordingly. As a Customer Relationship Management Analyst, you will provide a high standard of customer service to MCE staff providing timely administrative tool updates.
<h3>Key Responsibilities (Illustrative Only)</h3>
<ul>
<li>Implementing project plans aligned with department goals Maintaining an understanding of how various team members use the CRM to serve as a resource to the T&amp;A team and as the first line of issue spotting/testing for new CRM developments.</li>
<li>Provide functional support to end-users and facilitate testing of new CRM functionality rollouts.</li>
<li>Support, coordinate, and facilitate, as needed, investigation meetings. Assist in functional and technical discussions and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, moving between providing functional/technical design data.</li>
<li>Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.</li>
<li>Manage data flows, Import, and export data using native Data Import Tool, Data Loader (online and offline), and Pentaho</li>
<li>Educate end-users on CRM functions by developing and implementing training plans and learning materials for the users.</li>
<li>Support and coordinate with the offshore/onsite CRM development teams on various requirements and ticket resolution.</li>
<li>Manage the code and configuration deployment to Controlled environments such as User Acceptance Test sandbox and Production environment.</li>
<li>Audit and report for Salesforce Coding standards and test class coverage.</li>
<li>Validate the individual developer deliverables and confirm the conformity on requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain the Partial Data sandbox up to date with relevant anonymized data snapshots as required for the development team.</li>
<li>Maintain the Full Copy Sandbox, aligned to MCE standards and controls, syncing from Production.</li>
<li>Assist the business users with defining and/or reviewing the test plans and related quality reviews to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Two years (2) Demonstrated Experience in Salesforce Products.
<ul>
<li>Salesforce administrator certification is preferable, but if the incumbent does not have the certification at the start of the position one must be obtained in the first 6 months in the position as part of MCE&rsquo;s Professional Development process.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Proficient in data import/export using Pentaho or similar product.</li>
<li>Proficient at analyzing requirements, developing functional, specifications documents, and documenting and executing business process-specific test scenarios.</li>
<li>Strong preference for a candidate based in the San Francisco Bay Area or residing in the State of California.</li>

Experience/Education

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Analyst

<h3>About the Policy Team</h3>
The Policy team advances clean energy policies and cutting-edge programs that address climate change and improve communities. Policy engages with legislature and regulatory agencies to ensure communities have a choice of energy providers while centering equity and consumer needs.
<h3>As a Senior Legislative Manager or Legislative Manager</h3>
You will evaluate proposed legislation and assess the impact on MCE, recommend MCE positions on issues, and help communicate MCE&rsquo;s positions in the Legislature and other forums. You have a clear understanding of MCE&rsquo;s impact on energy-related matters and, at the Senior level, provide recommendations on farthing the impact. You may also be responsible for addressing MCE program or procurement implementation issues that may require regulatory or legislative remedies. As a Legislative Manager you&nbsp; may be assigned to assist in the work of other MCE teams.
You will contribute to joint legislative efforts through the California Community Choice Association (CalCCA). Additionally, the position is responsible for developing and managing relationships with stakeholders across California&rsquo;s energy policy landscape.
Your work will focus on building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and advocates, as well as providing subject matter expertise on energy issues, as appropriate. Together with MCE&rsquo;s contract lobbyists, as the Legislative Manager you will be the first point of contact for staff at the State Capitol. You will work closely with Executives, Leadership, stakeholders; cross-departmentally to understand challenges, issues, and MCE&rsquo;s position.
Leveling Senior Legislative Manager or Legislative Manager
A Senior Legislative Manager differs from that of a Legislative Manager based on experience, knowledge, and leadership in the field, having a large impact on shaping MCEs legislative direction. The senior level is characterized by strategic foresight, innovative legislative solutions, and a significant network of influence across stakeholders, lobbyists, and decision-makers. The Power Resources team is responsible for building a portfolio of clean resources to meet the needs of customers and the reliability of the grid. <h3>As a Director of Power Origination, Power Resources</h3>
As a Director of Power Origination you will be a leader in sourcing, negotiating, and structuring complex contracts. You will manage a team within the Power Resources department committed to delivering value for our portfolio of assets. You will be responsible for a wide range of energy procurement activities for supply of Greenhouse Gas-free energy (GHG-free), Asset Controlling Supply (ACS), and renewable energy. Reporting to the VP of Power Resources, you will be responsible for leading negotiations, contract origination, and securing renewable energy resources for MCE.
