<p>Summary This position is part of the Southeastern Power Administration. As a Budget Analyst, you will perform work in one or more phases of SEPAs budget process which may include supporting activities related to budget formulation and justification, presentation and enactment, execution, and monitoring and analysis of a variety of SEPA budgetary operations. <strong>This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to be physically present at the Elberton, GA duty location.</strong> Responsibilities As a Budget Analyst at the full performance level, you will: Perform administrative and analytical duties relative to the formulation, justification, presentation, execution and review of one or more assigned areas of the SEPA budget. Review financial data and budget reports. Identify trends, material weaknesses, problems and discrepancies, and determine if adjustments or corrections are needed. Conduct budgetary reviews and analyses in support of DOE programs, and organizational and management needs and objectives. Prepare budget reports, fiscal year end closeouts, and responses to data calls in accordance with DOE policies and communicates information and findings to management.
