Program Manager

The Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting a thriving, affordable, and accessible clean energy economy by providing financial and technical resources to Nevadans. Position Summary
As the Community Engagement Manager, you will join in NCEF&rsquo;s efforts to make clean energy accessible to all Nevadans. In this role, you will develop and implement NCEF&rsquo;s community engagement strategy and strategic communications initiatives, including managing external communications related to NCEF&rsquo;s programming, planning and implementing community events, and coordinating diverse stakeholder input. Your Responsibilities

Your Minimum Qualifications

The SB Energy legal team supports all aspects of project development and operations, offering our interns the chance to gain real-world experience in particular practice areas that they find most interesting, including real estate, project financing, acquisitions, power sales, and regulatory, among many others. Along the way, you’ll gain experience with the day-to-day administration of an in-house legal team at a fast-paced, innovative company, and the opportunity to build relationships with stakeholders across the renewable energy industry.Responsibilities <ul><li>Exposure to variety of legal disciplines and functions, including finance, regulatory, development, and day-to-day legal support. Specific tasks will depend on the intern’s personal interests and team’s needs. </li><li>Work on a diverse mix of assignments and on a range of transactions, projects, and regulatory matters. Examples of specific tasks may include:</li><li>Negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Services Agreements and Task Orders. </li><li>Support of complex commercial and financial transactions, including checklist management, coordination with consultants and outside counsel, and related tasks. </li><li>Management and maintenance of document repositories for precedent tracking. </li><li>Assist with data entry and maintenance of systems to track, review, and analyze regulatory filings, and other legal documents. </li><li>Support targeted legal research and projects as needed. </li><li>Support contract management as needed.  </li><li>Assist with note taking, scheduling, and strategic planning efforts.  </li></ul>Experience/ Qualifications <ul><li>Education: Law student pursuing a Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school highly preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated interest in the energy industry desired; prior legal and/or technical experience or educational background in energy development, project finance, energy regulation, or related fields preferred.  </li><li>Previous related internships, volunteer, or work experience desired.  </li><li>Prior exposure/comfort level with legal and/or regulatory documentation strongly desired.  </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft office suite.  </li><li>Highly motivated and a self-starter. </li><li>Must be able to work independently and be effective in a team environment. </li><li>Ability to support multiple concurrent tasks with competing priorities.  </li><li>Ability to synthesize and organize large amounts of data. </li><li>Ability to organize time well and set proper priorities. </li><li>Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills required. </li></ul>Location: Redwood City, CA .
