Our software enables a consistent charging experience across all charge point brands and we empower charge point owners with a full-fledged solution to attract users and seamlessly manage usage, pricing, availability, and transactions.We’ve closed a huge Series B round! 80M EUR and soaring! Our journey so far? An expansion across various markets, prestigious #ISO27001 and B-Corp certifications, and proactive tech revolutionizing the EV charging experience. Not to mention, our growth has skyrocketed 6X since the last round, nearing 1 million monthly charging sessions, and 1,000 #EV drivers joining us daily! Monta will use the EUR 80M funding to double down on its successful software-only strategy by strengthening investments in all markets and improving and expanding its product to new sectors ready to embark on an electrified future.(Some of) the things you will be working on:<ul> <li>Enable our other divisions to easily integrate and add functionality in the platform.</li> <li>Shape our growing backend-for-frontend in Kotlin.</li> <li>Lead our part of the PHP monolith migration into Kotlin &amp; Micronaut services.</li> <li>Taking our bulk user actions to the next level with smarter reporting/monitoring and automation.</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>You will be leading 3 squads with their own Engineering Managers, so previous experience leading managers is a requirement.</li> <li>You will be expected to be hands on and help drive many initiatives.</li> <li>You will need to communicate with many stakeholders inside the company.</li> <li>Evaluate existing processes and procedures to identify areas that need optimization, we’re a 3 year old company but we’ve moved pretty fast.</li> <li>Experience with Java and Spring/Springboot - even better with Kotlin and Micronaut.</li> <li>PHP / Laravel experience is a big plus.</li> </ul><h3>The Team</h3><ul> <li>The Monta Hub team consists of:</li> <ul> <li>Operations &amp; Maintenance: Newly formed team with the focus of improving daily operations, such as handling financial transactions and ongoing maintenance, such as charge point stability in a much smarter way.</li> <li>Hub Core: A team with the main responsibility of the platform consisting of Flutter, Kotlin, PHP and QA engineers. You will plan requirements with internal stakeholders including: coordinating input, managing the product roadmap, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to stakeholders, as well as lead projects through the entire product lifecycle. You have familiarity explaining your analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.You will be primarily responsible for the ongoing evolution of Planet’s Tasking products. Within the next year, Planet will have three tasked constellations - high-resolution SkySat and Pelican, and hyperspectral Tanager. You will work across teams on both the imagery and platform side to ensure our customers can easily access high quality imagery products. This role will evolve with the changing needs of our organization and the lifecycle of our constellations. Initially, your primary responsibilities will include gathering requirements and setting goals to make Planet’s SkySat imagery ideally suited to our customer’s use cases and compatible with upcoming Pelican imagery. As that constellation moves further into its lifecycle, your work will transition to a cross-constellation role with a heavier emphasis on platform, access, and reliability. This is an excellent opportunity for a PM that has interest and/or experience in both Earth Observation and also software platforms and is flexible, adaptable, and looking for a role that has tremendous growth and learning potential.
