Overview
As a New Product Introduction Engineer at Channing St. Copper Co., you will play a crucial role in developing equipment and processes for cutting-edge Energy Storage Equiped (ESE) appliances. You will collaborate with our cross-functional team throughout the entire product launch lifecycle, from design to full production ramp. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with Design, Engineering, Quality, Production, Maintenance, Test, and External Vendors to take designs from concept to full production.

What You'll Do

<li>Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li>
<li>Develop manufacturing tests and manage the triage of failed units.</li>
<li>Manage supplier quality issues and oversee rework processes.</li>
<li>Support the development of test and assembly fixtures.</li>
<li>Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) reviews.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Design Engineering to optimize new production processes.</li>
<li>Lead root cause analysis on in-process product failures and implement preventative actions.</li>
<li>Support the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for hardware, firmware, and software.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost, quality, and efficiency metrics during production ramp.</li>

What You'll Bring

<li>Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, or firmware engineering.</li>
<li>8-10 years of experience working as a manufacturing/NPI engineer or equivalent.</li>

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 per year. We are committed to equitable compensation, and we offer a generous benefits package to make sure you have the support you need. We cover 100% of the premiums for our employees and 50% of the premiums for their dependents on our base plans for medical, dental, and vision insurance. We offer a 401(k) plan for employees to contribute to, in addition to many other benefits.
