The Incentive Fulfillment Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of incentive and payment processing for utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs. This role involves coordinating with various internal teams and external vendors to execute incentive strategies in a timely and accurate manner.

Incentive Fulfillment:
Responsible for ensuring that all payments approved by operations teams are paid accurately and within contracted timelines.

<li>Serve as the finance team&rsquo;s interface with the operations teams. Partner with operations teams to resolve payment issues. Provide training to operations teams on payment processes, procedures, governance, and payments risk.</li>
<li>Manage the relationship with outsourced payment processing vendors while evaluating new products and services that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction with Evergreen&rsquo;s incentive fulfillment function.</li>
<li>In partnership with the Director of Finance, support the daily money movement processes with oversight of ACH and wire processing, reconciliation incentive settlements, and completing the exception processing for incentive payments.</li>
<li>Identify suspicious transactions.</li>
</ul>
Regulatory Compliance: 
Responsible for ensuring that payments comply with federal and state regulations.
<ul>
<li>W9/1099 Management for all incentives</li>
<li>TIN matching</li>
<li>Lead escheatment responsibilities in alignment with state regulations.</li>
<li>In partnership with the operations team, ensure that all outstanding payments reach their intended recipient.</li>

Financial Compliance:
Support the development, refinement, and execution of financial controls plans in partnership with Evergreen management.

<li>Support Evergreen&rsquo;s SOC I certifications and compliance systems.</li>
<li>Support Evergreen annual financial review as it relates to the incentive programs, policies, procedures, data security assessments, and managing the action items resolution process to completion.</li>

Reporting &amp; Reconciliation:
Responsible for reconciling payments approved by program teams.

<li>Provide weekly and monthly payment/banking reconciliations.</li>
<li>Provide reconciliation between operations team database and finance system.</li>
<li>Client invoice support which includes payment reconciliation.</li>

Aimed at addressing the myriad of energy and environmental sustainability initiatives, this Fellowship model presents a distinct opportunity to shape energy efficiencies and sustainability practices across sectors and institutional roles.
At the core of this program is developing the next generation of thinkers and doers to help address sustainability in higher education settings. Roles in educational sustainability require a distinct combination of aptitudes including project management, data analytics, and community development. In addition to the Climate Corps training and professional certificate, this position offers professional development opportunities designed to help provide the range of skills necessary to execute sustainable programs or practices.&nbsp;
The candidate will work on pressing climate and sustainability problems and be relied upon to work toward replicable solutions. Together, we can make a future with unlimited clean electricity from fusion a reality.  </div>What You'll Be DoingAs Helion's Senior Energy Transactional Counsel you will take a lead road on legal matters for deploying Helion's first fusion power plants, enabling a future of unlimited clean energy. You will work with our business and technical teams on first-of-a kind issues such as site selection, completing power purchase agreements, and developing a state permitting path forward for the world's first fusion power plants. You will also support many critical corporate and commercial projects to support us as it scales over the first couple of years. You will report directly to our General Counsel and will be based out of our Everett, WA, offices or Washington D.C.You Will:<ul><li>Negotiate agreements related to siting our first power plants, such as site lease or purchase agreements, power purchase agreements, financing agreements, and others</li><li>Develop the permitting pathway in Washington and other states for deployment of fusion power plants, and addressing novel legal issues that arise</li><li>Manage legal due diligence around site selection, interconnection, environmental, and other important project development questions</li><li>Use the lessons learned from building our first plants to develop a long-term strategy for deploying fusion power plants at scale, and then build a team to accomplish that plan</li><li>Support all corporate and commercial aspects of the business, including drafting corporate policies, improving governance internally and between affiliates, assisting in daily commercial negotiations, and providing legal advice for our operations teams</li><li>Draft substantial legal and non-legal documents such as applications to government agencies or project updates for public affairs outreach</li><li>Work with our Executive, Operations, Public Affairs, Safety, Policy, and Communications teams and others, building support across Helion on important decisions</li><li>Travel requirements: Significant travel is expected within the United States. </li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>10+ years of legal experience working on energy transactional and development matters</li><li>An end-to-end understanding of the project development process for a power plant from the legal perspective, and experience on general corporate and commercial matters</li><li>Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing and keeping organized complex legal projects</li><li>Operate within high pressure environments</li><li>Must be barred in any state or DC (bar not needed in WA to start so long as able to file for house counsel status upon starting)</li></ul>The pay range for this position is $180K - $290K.
