<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p>

<li>Dialogues with the reference bodies for Environmental Control and Hydrogeological Risk such as Italian body as ARPA, ARTA, CNR, Fire Brigade, Basin Consortia, CREA, ANAS/RTI, Infrastructural Bodies, Autonomous Provinces, CNR, Civil Protection, in their various forms;</li>
<li>Carries out prospecting work in the target market;</li>
<li>Participates in events, trade fairs, congresses, presentations, workshops;</li>
<li>Puts in place the preparatory phase by promoting, identifying, researching, monitoring, calls for tenders and market requests;</li>

<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>
<p>The proposed solution covers needs in a variety of applications and, therefore, experience in at least one of the following sectors is desired:</p>
<ul>
<li>private agricultural sector (farms, cooperatives) public sector (provincial authorities, consortia, rural development authorities) suppliers of products and services in the sector (chemicals, materials, vehicles) aqueducts, water treatment and distribution sector, market of public institutions dealing with hydrogeological risks and issues related to climate change and meteorology (basin authorities, civil protection);</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is essential, Italian and French are advantages;</li>
<li>Experience in the specific role, preferably in BtoB and BtoBtoC contexts;</li>
<li>Availability for a significant number of travel days per year (1-2 weeks per month);</li>

This means two things: slash global emissions from 60 gigaton annual to near zero, and remove CO2 from the atmosphere on a multi gigaton scale.</span></p>

<p class="notion-text__content"><span class="notion-semantic-string">The last IPCC report estimates that 5 to 16 gigaton of CDR will be required each year after 2050 to keep global temperature increase as close to 1.5&deg;C as possible. Reaching such levels in just a few decades is a herculean feat and will require many approaches.</span></p>

<p class="notion-text__content"><span class="notion-semantic-string">Direct Air Capture is compelling due to is low physical footprint, flexible siting near CO2 storage and clean energy, and straightforward measurement. On the demand side, DAC benefits from massive tailwinds, such as a $3.5 billion scale up funding in the US, a first billion $ acquisition, and a fast growing market for CDR credits and carbon negative products (e.g. concrete).</span></p>
</div>

<p class="notion-text__content"><span class="notion-semantic-string">However, first generation DAC technologies are very energy intensive due to the work required to separate CO2 from the sorbent. Current systems use 1,500 to 3,000 kWh per ton of CO2 - which is 10x to 20x higher than the theoretical minimum. At gigaton scale, such systems would require between 1/3 and 3/4 of the annual US power consumption.</span></p>

<p><strong>CEO- E-COMMERCE CLIMATE TECH STARTUP</strong></p>
<p>Planet Cents is a pre-seed stage, for-profit, global e-Commerce marketplace startup. Our mission: reverse climate change with sustainable purchasing, and make this the norm. <a href="http://www.planetcents.us/">www.PlanetCents.us</a> We are ground floor, needing investors for our platform build.</p>
<p>This role can begin as full-time (preferred,) or part-time if necessary. It will begin as a Consultant under a 3-month contract to ensure a fit, and once that is established, become the CEO. It is virtual to start, eventually transitioning to a central headquarters.</p>
<p>The CEO will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. They will be responsible for making key decisions, alongside the Founder.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<p>All of the usual responsibilities for a CEO ~ especially those required in launching a ground floor startup.</p>
<p>Depending upon your competencies and skills, and that of our Founder, division, and sharing of responsibilities will be negotiated.</p>
