THE ROLE

The Lab Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the formality and functionality of our expanding lab operations. This role is central to creating bandwidth for technical teams, facilitating innovation, and advancing product development. As we transition to a larger lab space, the Lab Manager will develop and implement robust protocols and SOPs to build a high-functioning laboratory environment. We foster a proactive, solutions-oriented work environment where a tight-knit, interdisciplinary team collaborates intensively. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an early member of our software engineering team, you will have the opportunity to establish best practices and build our go-to-market platform. WATS is a climate tech startup decarbonizing businesses with waste operations software. WATS is solving for a $100M serviceable market - climate tech is a 1.5 trillion dollar industry.&nbsp;
You will work directly with our founding team to deliver a software platform that meets all the needs a business has on their journey to manage their waste sustainably while reducing their costs and carbon. This role will require you to work across a modern web application stack and make informed decisions about what languages, frameworks, tools and services we will utilize to scale WATS to hundreds of thousands of customers.

In 2022 WATS was a participant in the <a href="http://eranyc.com">Entrepreneur Roundtable Accelerator</a>. In February of 2023 WATS&nbsp; completed the <a href="https://masschallenge.org/programs-decarbonization">MassChallenge Decarbonization Accelerator</a>, and in March of 2023 WATS closed their pre-seed round of venture capital funding and took in a bridge in the Fall of 2023. Your Responsibilities:
