It is set up in three divisions: Testing, Test Management and Test Operations. Our team runs tests that facilitate certification, development, and research for the technology areas: Propulsion Systems, Batteries, Structures, Environmental Tests and Hardware in the Loop (HIL).You will serve as the person of contact for all Battery tests and manage the complete process of testing from requirements breakdown &amp; concept development to test execution &amp; data processing by always keeping the goal of qualification and verification of our aircraft components in mind. In this role, you will be the focused in manufacturing and assembly processes, characterization, and qualification processes both within the Lilium factories and within the global supply chain. Your experience and expertise will be called upon to develop and deploy controlled processes in use throughout several components of our Lilium Jet. When working with our supply base, you will be instrumental in leading the industrialisation of our external partners to meet our vision.  This includes the development of new components and assemblies, taking them through to stable production, following industry-standard structured approaches including APQP. To build up essential technical capabilities within Lilium, you will follow a rigorous approach to establishing the correct process parameter windows to meet engineering intent for building of development hardware, create prototypes and coupon-level hardware samples and data packages for technical approval, and create technical documentation for the smooth operation and control of our production equipment.  You will own end-to-end delivery of components/assemblies in keeping with our design and Materials and Process specifications and engage in design-for-manufacture topics to assure successful delivery to program. It is set up in three divisions: Testing, Test Management and Test Operations. Our team runs tests that facilitate certification, development, and research for the technology areas: Propulsion Systems, Energy Systems, Structures, Environmental Tests and Hardware in the Loop (HIL).Your TasksYou will manage the complete process of testing from requirements breakdown &amp; concept development to test execution &amp; data processing by always keeping the goal of qualification and verification of our aircraft components in mind. You will have many interfaces to the engineering teams like Mechanical Systems, Resource &amp; Workload Planning and Coordination, CAD, Calculation and Production.You will be expected to execute ad-hoc &amp; hands-on tests to support our fast-paced development activities.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Own the entire EMI/EMC testing process, from planning and preparation to execution and evidence generation.</li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive test plans aligned with industry standards and aircraft-specific requirements. Conduct EMI/EMC tests using both internal capabilities and external resources as needed.</li><li>Gather, analyze, and present comprehensive test results and evidence, ensuring compliance with EASA/FAA and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Integrated Project Team (IPT), to ensure alignment and support. Effectively communicate test plans, results, and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Possess a deep understanding of aircraft EMI/EMC standards and EASA/FAA regulations. Demonstrate ability to apply this expertise to real-world testing scenarios.</li></ul>Your Profile<ul><li>Degree in mechanical-, mechatronic-, electrical-, aerospace engineering or similar is required (Ph.D./ M.
