As a Senior Commercial Portfolio Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing solar photovoltaic (PV) assets and energy storage projects. Reporting directly to the Manager of Commercial Operations, you'll collaborate closely with our dynamic team, taking ownership of client relationships from onboarding to performance reporting and day-to-day asset management. This role is not just about managing assets; it's about shaping the future of sustainable energy.</div><div><br></div><div>For our next role, we are focused on hiring someone who can work West Coast hours (until 4:30 PT).</div><br><br><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Manage client relationships of our most sophisticated commercial asset owners, investors, or developers.</li><li>Partner with our Client Success team to strategize for client growth opportunities and quarterly business reviews</li><li>Provide professional expertise around preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize production. </li><li>Provide professional summary and deep explanation, as needed, of monthly asset performance </li><li>Oversee a portfolio of 100-200 MW of distributed solar assets, driving efficiency and maximizing output (post-installation and PTO). </li><li>Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Utilize your technical prowess to resolve system issues, working closely with equipment, inverter, and DAS technical support.</li><li>Foster and strengthen relationships with stakeholders from site owners to facilities personnel, cementing Omnidian's reputation for reliability and excellence.</li><li>Create and manage tickets for planned and unplanned service activities.</li><li>Provide service reports to demonstrate not only what we've achieved in the field but also what next steps are required</li><li>Coordinate external field service resources to ensure peak performance and minimize downtime, leaving no room for inefficiencies.</li><li>Manage RMA processes and replacement of faulty components, including delivery and returns of equipment.</li><li>Dispatch subcontracted O&amp;M services for both planned maintenance and reactive issues with the agility of a true operations maestro.</li><li>Possibility of travel up to 2 times per year to visit high-priority clients and build long-lasting relationships</li></ul><h3>Who You Are</h3><ul><li>Excellent written communication skills, including professional email etiquette with an eye for relationship-building </li><li>Exceptional verbal communication skills with previous experience in client success or customer service</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills</li><li>Professionally minded; focusing on quality and quantity of deliverables</li><li>Thrive in a fast-paced, growth-mode environment </li><li>Highly organized and capable of driving multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Strong technical understanding of business operations </li><li>Fast learner of infrastructure and tools, including CRM, support ticketing, ERP, and business intelligence</li><li>Ownership mentality of issues or questions and ability to escalate problems to the appropriate persons and follow up accordingly with the client.</li><li>A passion for learning and a hunger to continually expand your skill set to stay at the cutting edge of the industry.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Enjoys change and can quickly adapt to the needs of the business and team</li><li>Ability to stay cool under pressure</li></ul><h3>Experience You'll Need</h3><ul><li>4+ years of professional experience in the solar energy industry, showcasing a history of leadership in account management, asset management, operations and maintenance, or field service coordination. </li><li>2+ years of experience must be in Commercial asset management tracking priorities, deadlines, and response times based on production loss and asset size</li><li>Proven experience in client success, customer service, or account management, where you've demonstrated exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Deep understanding of solar monitoring DAS platforms (examples: AlsoEnergy &amp;
