In service of this purpose, we are building a foundation of equity and inclusivity across our business, including our operations, our fellowship, our partnerships, and our brand.</div>High Level Responsibilities:<ul><li>Use project and data management tools to actively maintain recruitment data streams, and support the report out to the team on progress.</li><li>Support the recruitment strategy to systematically engage key contacts across higher education institutions, research labs, entrepreneurial incubators and accelerators, and other partners to disseminate information about the Activate Fellowship to potential applicants.</li><li>Assist efforts to increase the diversity of the fellow applicant pool, including reaching and recruiting applicants from underrepresented communities.</li><li>Work closely with the fellowship and marketing teams to execute the recruitment strategy and timeline. </li><li>Provide operational and customer service support to prospective applicants throughout the application cycle. </li><li>Lead one proposed project over the course of the internship to contribute to recruitment and fellowship strategies </li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bandwidth requirement of ~20 hours per week as a part-time and/or 40 hours as a full-time employee, depending on commitments and schedule </li></ul>About the Role: The position is a hybrid role, with a very flexible approach to on-site time. You may be located at one of our community sites (Berkeley, Boston, Houston, or New York) or anywhere in the U.S. We are open to different onsite / remote arrangements depending on fit and need and encourage in-person team-building when appropriate. This position is unique, as you ideally will begin the internship full-time over the summer with the option to transition to part-time in the Fall, depending on commitments and schedule. Start date is rolling, based on availability and mutual fit. Commitment is at least six months.
