You’ll be our first Business Development Representative and play a critical role in driving product adoption among the freight industry. Collaborating with the product and marketing teams and leveraging a deep understanding of our product and customer use cases, you will develop outbound strategies to initiate contact with prospective clients, showcasing the value of Pledge’s solution to facilitate self-serve signups.This role is NOT for you if:<ul style=""><li>You are looking for a 9 to 5 job.</li><li>You have a low risk appetite and favour predictability over the uncertainty &amp; high intensity environment of a startup.</li><li>You want a fully remote job and are not excited about being in an office with your team for minimum 3 days a week.</li></ul><h2>WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:</h2><ul style=""><li>Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute effective lead generation campaigns, identifying the ideal buyer/and or user persona within target accounts.</li><li>Qualify and prospect ICP’s managing outbound product led growth (PLG) campaigns through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, Linkedin and other social media.</li><li>Engage with prospects to understand their needs and educate them on the benefits of Pledge's solutions.</li><li>Introduce ICP’s to Pledge’s product, driving product adoption and accelerating self-serve signup process, closing prospects into signing up for free trial.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and PLG activities using CRM software.</li><li>Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends to effectively address customer pain points.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and product teams to remove any barriers to adoption</li><li>Continuously test, improve and refine sales strategies and messaging in close collaboration with the marketing team.
