<li>Using your experience in software development to read between the lines of feedback and identify the problems that users are facing &ndash; and then come up with and build novel features that solve those problems. Even if users aren&rsquo;t telling us explicitly what the problem is - e.g. making a feature more intuitive if you see on a live demo that users aren&rsquo;t quickly working out how it should be used.</li>
<li>Refining how we sell the platform and also building out our internal dashboards to work out which bits of the customer journey we should focus on improving.</li>
<li>Working with and deriving national scale geospatial datasets</li>
<li>Speaking with our customers (farm advisors and farmers) to get their feedback (this could be watching them use the product live on a call which we do frequently, or just them getting in touch with feedback). Then working with them and the team to define new features and products.</li>

We are seeking a Grasslands Carbon Business Development Manager to join our expanding team and lead our effort to preserve soil carbon. By preventing activities such as tillage, cropland conversion, and synthetic fertilizer use, we can protect our nation’s grasslands and limit future greenhouse gas emissions.</p><p>As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities for AgriCapture’s grasslands carbon offset program by developing relationships with land trusts and landowners willing to conserve grasslands and get rewarded for storing carbon. This position is field-based, with an expectation of travel to attend conferences, network, meet prospective land trust partners and landowners, and develop an ecosystem of referrals. You will spend most of your time securing acreage for new carbon projects- researching suitable land trusts and contacting them or responding to referrals and introductions. You will lead project feasibility analysis, working with AgriCapture’s technology team and a dedicated technical Project Manager, and direct all communication with the land trust and/or landowner. </p><p>This role requires an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong network in the land trust community in the following focus states: TX, OK, NE, KS, ND, SD, CO and MT, a willingness to travel, and a solid understanding of land conservation principles.
