We want you to join us! </div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:10.5pt;">Via Separations’ technology is the first commercial implementation of membranes in several difficult industrial applications, including the pulp and paper industry. The Operations Engineer is intended to work alongside a team of engineers and technicians to operate a first of a kind design for new membrane systems. You will be responsible for generating an operations infrastructure and management system for Via’s newly designed systems.  The Operations Engineer will be over the development and utilization of unit health monitoring for all online systems. This role will serve as the primary contact for operations and will lead troubleshooting efforts on all fielded systems. Systems will range from small-scale pilots to industrial-scale chemical filtration systems.  This role has enormous growth potential as headcount increases, systems scale, and the organization continues to build scope and influence.</span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities include:</h3><ul><li>Develop unit health monitoring for field deployed systems using data analytics software</li><li>Generate, modify, and maintain project-specific process design packages (PFDs, BOMs, P&amp;IDs, etc.)</li><li>Participate in hazard analysis on various systems (FMEA, HAZOP, etc.)</li><li>Develop standard operating procedures for first of a kind technologies</li><li>Provide training and direction to day-to-day operations</li><li>Provide on-site oversight and support for systems at customers sites</li><li>Analyze process performance, summarize findings, and drive continuous improvement on existing and newly deployed facilities</li><li>Up to 30-50% travel required</li></ul><h3>The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these qualifications</h3><ul><li>BS in Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering or similar</li><li>3+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing facility preferred</li><li>Experience with data acquisition software for analysis/troubleshooting</li><li>You must be: team-oriented, adaptable, able to prioritize and balance multiple projects, and love to build, troubleshoot and think critically. </li><li>U.S. Work Authorization is required for this role</li></ul><h3>We Offer:</h3><ul><li>Competitive compensation package, including equity options</li><li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance</li><li>Disability &amp; Life Insurance</li><li>401(k)</li><li>12 weeks paid Parental  Leave</li><li>Onsite Gym</li><li>Flexible PTO policy</li><li>10 days paid company holidays</li></ul><br><div>At Via, we value and prioritize diversity of thought, access, and experiences, and are an equal opportunity employer by choice.
