We are looking for another Director to join our Analytics Hub, preferably via one of our European hubs to help oversee SYSTEMIQ&rsquo;s analytical work-programme. Primarily this will be about developing system models (most notably around country and decarbonization and energy transition modelling). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analyses which answer some of the most complex and challenging questions on the road to a net-zero or net-positive economy, and for using these insights to help build consensus on critical actions for the next decade. The work includes all facets of the analytics process; techniques, organization, internal education and hiring.
This is an exciting opportunity to define the analytics platform at a growing and ambitious consultancy. The candidate will be one of SYSTEMIQ&rsquo;s go-to expert on everything analytics, leading a central team of 5-10 specialists, working closely with all platforms.

Building upon Generate’s compensation philosophy, you will use your natural drive towards data in your decision-making processes but will also enjoy applying the creative when designing long-term wealth creation opportunities for all Generators.What you will be doing at Generate Capital as the Director, Compensation:<ul><li>Develop and lead the company’s compensation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, talent retention, and market competitiveness</li><li>Design and implement compensation frameworks, including base salary, incentive plans, equity grants, and executive compensation packages. This includes developing carry plans, co-investment structures, and performance-based incentive programs that align with Generate’s investment strategies and promote long-term value creation</li><li>Partner with senior executives and the finance team to design carried interest structures that incentivize investment performance and align interests with our balanced scorecard</li><li>Collaborate with the People Team and Business Leaders on compensation-related matters, including salary recommendations, promotions, and equity grants</li><li>Review market benchmark surveys, analyze competitive market data, lead annual compensation planning, and recommend customized solutions aligned to the strategic needs of the business</li><li>Partner with the People Team to integrate compensation with the performance management system and develop guidelines and processes for linking performance metrics with variable pay programs</li><li>Oversee strategic initiatives across the Compensation team, including, M&amp;A, audits, portfolio incentive plans, and other key initiatives that arise</li><li>Develop and deliver communication strategies to effectively communicate compensation programs, policies, and guidelines to employees</li></ul>Candidate qualifications &amp; core characteristics:<ul><li>A demonstrated passion for, or commitment to, our mission</li><li>7+ years in Compensation Management, including significant exposure to the private equity industry or other financial services sectors</li><li>Familiarity with carry plans, co-investment structures, equity compensation programs, performance-based initiatives, and pay-for-performance models</li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver flexible, creative rewards strategies that link to operating objectives</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders</li><li>Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references</li><li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing, editing, and basic design skills</li><li>High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges</li><li>Intellectual agility, curiosity, and creativity; problem-solving is your default mode</li><li>Entrepreneurial spirit: flexibility, comfort with risk, recognition that “perfect can be the enemy of the good”</li></ul>Generate’s compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $225,000. In addition, the compensation package may include a discretionary bonus and other benefits, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, benefits permitting paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off or vacation benefits), and other benefits that must be reported for federal tax purposes. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing, optimizing and managing purchasing processes, fostering stakeholder and supplier relationships, and formulating strategies to minimize costs while maintaining support quality and efficiency for the organization.
