You can drive an ATV, or you’re not afraid to learn. You use mechanical tools comfortably. This role will coordinate with our hardware team to improve data collection from our novel spectral soil probe for building machine learning models, will partner with our soil science team to collect and analyze soil and geospatial data sets, and will collaborate with our business development team to accurately and effectively communicate soil carbon results to our customers.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">On a typical day, our field team is out collecting data on farms. <p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>
<p>As a Lead Full Stack Engineer, you'll be a key player in the foundational stages, working with the founders (both engineers) in shaping Epoch&rsquo;s software product architecture and security infrastructure, with a particular focus on building the interface between back-end and front-end components. You&rsquo;ll play a key role in bringing a product to market and working closely with customers to refine the product-market fit. As a default, we will look to you to grow into a VP Engineering role, eventually building and leading a world-class engineering team, so even though you will start as an individual contributor, if your interests and skillsets align, you will transition into a key leadership role.</p>

<li>Containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) are a central part of your software engineering toolbox.</li>
<li>Proficiency with React JS/Native and its geospatial flavor to build high-performance web map UIs, while ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Node.js and Python for server-side applications is highly desirable</li>
<li>Mastery of both SQL and NoSQL databases</li>
<li>Long-standing experience in git version control, upholding very high standards for clean code and repository structure management. A track record in open-source development is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Prior experience with geospatial and earth observation data is highly desirable.</li>

<li>To create consistency and excellence in our analytical work by being the professional authority of anything analytics within SYSTEMIQ, also enhancing our ability to attract talent &ndash; like you, in this space.</li>
<li>To strengthen and amplify our existing IP efforts by carrying over learnings, insights and data from project to project.</li>

<p>We are looking for another Director to join our Analytics Hub, preferably via one of our European hubs to help oversee SYSTEMIQ&rsquo;s analytical work-programme. Primarily this will be about developing system models (most notably around country and decarbonization and energy transition modelling). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analyses which answer some of the most complex and challenging questions on the road to a net-zero or net-positive economy, and for using these insights to help build consensus on critical actions for the next decade. The work includes all facets of the analytics process; techniques, organization, internal education and hiring.</p>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity to define the analytics platform at a growing and ambitious consultancy. The candidate will be one of SYSTEMIQ&rsquo;s go-to expert on everything analytics, leading a central team of 5-10 specialists, working closely with all platforms.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have an appetite to grip the big picture and the systems-implications of our work on decarbonization, material flows, nature and planetary boundaries, while also understanding the details underpinning analytical work and advanced modelling skills required. The candidate will be proactive and able to deliver autonomously, taking ownership for the set up of the team and its strategy, whilst progressively building out and linking up models and modules.</p>
<p>This role will initially report to two of our partners (Eveline Speelman, co-lead Energy Platform and Amsterdam Office Manager and Yoni Shiran, partner Materials Platform based out of London).</p>

<li>Knowledge of and experience with designing relatively complex, interdependent IT-systems and data management systems</li>
<li>Experience working with version control and open source software</li>

By certifying agricultural products as Climate-Friendly and developing carbon credits, we serve corporations that are reducing and offsetting their GHG emissions while empowering consumers to consciously select Climate-Friendly products. We are seeking a Grasslands Carbon Business Development Manager to join our expanding team and lead our effort to preserve soil carbon. By preventing activities such as tillage, cropland conversion, and synthetic fertilizer use, we can protect our nation’s grasslands and limit future greenhouse gas emissions.</p><p>As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities for AgriCapture’s grasslands carbon offset program by developing relationships with land trusts and landowners willing to conserve grasslands and get rewarded for storing carbon. This position is field-based, with an expectation of travel to attend conferences, network, meet prospective land trust partners and landowners, and develop an ecosystem of referrals. You will spend most of your time securing acreage for new carbon projects- researching suitable land trusts and contacting them or responding to referrals and introductions. You will lead project feasibility analysis, working with AgriCapture’s technology team and a dedicated technical Project Manager, and direct all communication with the land trust and/or landowner. </p><p>This role requires an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong network in the land trust community in the following focus states: TX, OK, NE, KS, ND, SD, CO and MT, a willingness to travel, and a solid understanding of land conservation principles.
