Senior Owner’s Engineer

<h2>Scope of Position</h2><p>EDF Renewables North America is a market-leading independent power producer and service provider with over 35 years of experience. We deliver grid-scale power: wind (onshore and offshore), solar photovoltaic, and storage projects; distribution-scale power: solar and storage; asset optimization: technical, operational, and commercial expertise to maximize the performance of generating projects, and onsite solutions, through the Company’s PowerFlex affiliate, offering a full suite of onsite energy solutions for commercial and industrial customers: solar, storage, EV charging, energy management systems, and microgrids.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Remote Position - however candidate must be located in EDF's West Region (WA, OR, CA NV and Western NM)</strong></p><p> </p><p>Originate renewable energy project opportunities in the WECC region. Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, and comfortable interfacing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including our in‐house engineering, implementation &amp; valuation team, facility and landowners, utility officials, and other strategic partners. Responsibilities extend across all phases of Company Business Development including lead generation, customer relationship management, market‐specific strategy and analysis, direct marketing, business development campaign plan creation and execution, and proposal development and management. </p><p> </p><p> </p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Business Development Execution – Directly originate renewable energy project opportunities in the WECC region including executing business development campaigns in targeted market segments, implementing contact plans with customers and partners, developing and drafting project proposals, interfacing with multiple stakeholders to analyze available data and to structure and propose solutions. </li> <li>Customer Identification and Development – Contribute to creation of, and implement, origination plans in targeted region(s) and market(s), identify, filter, engage, and cultivate customer contacts in support of origination strategy and sales campaigns. Identify potential partnering opportunities. </li> <li>Market Research and Development – Develop in‐depth knowledge of, and become expert in, target regions and markets, including and regulatory incentives, verticals, and co‐development opportunities; Identify and implement marketing initiatives and personal/professional outreach in the storage markets, including developing origination materials, presenting to industry and customer constituencies, and identifying key marketing strategies and competitive differentiators. </li> <li>Reporting and Pricing ‐ Track, update, coordinate, and origination opportunities directly and with team; submit and manage project pricing requests and approval processes. </li> <li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul><p><strong>Supervision of Others:</strong> Supervision of junior business development team members; interaction with other professionals within the Company to support business development efforts. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong> Approximately 75% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams, etc.), telephones, and general office equipment. Approximately 25% of the time is spent interacting with customers and consultants onsite. Associate Director - Business Development [Remote]

The analyst will support project finance transaction fundings/closings for utility scale renewable energy projects. The analyst will also assist in preparing project confidential information memorandums and presentations to management for internal approvals.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Independently run pro-forma models and structuring sensitivities to help make structuring decisions to support to Project Finance and other stakeholders (Example: Asset Management/Generation, Development) groups. </li> <li>Help drive the finance process from gaining internal approval through solicitation, assessment, selection, due diligence presentation to senior management and consummation of transactions.</li> <li>Mentoring junior Analysts</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>Working Conditions –</p><p>90% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 10% of time is spent outside of the office visiting business partners, projects as well as attending various conferences and meetings.  </p><h2>Qualifications</h2><p>Education/Experience – </p><ul> <li>Requires Bachelors level degree in Finance, Accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering or related field. MBA, CPA, CFA preferred.</li> <li>Three plus years of financial analysis experience (can be pre- and post-grad combined).</li> <li>Experience within the renewable energy industry preferred.</li> <li>Tax equity experience and partnership taxation experience/knowledge is a strong plus .</li> <li>Experience supporting project finance transactions or related valuation experience and due diligence is required.</li></ul><p>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities – </p><ul> <li>Requires strong Excel knowledge; VBA knowledge a plus; Heavy financial spreadsheet creation experience.
