On May 8, 2018, I was asked to testify before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Transportation & Infrastructure in D.C. on the use of Blue Technology to improve Efficiency, Performance, Duration, & Cost for the Coast Guard. That testimony was part of HR 6206 (Coast Guard Blue Technology Center of Expertise Act), which passed the 115th Congress in June 2018. HR 6206 was included in The Save Our Seas Act of 2018 signed into law by President Donald J. Trump on October 11, 2018.
I have presented on Blue Technology, the Blue Economy and Ocean Data and Analytics at: The Consortium for Ocean Leadership in D.C., New Jersey's Tech Council on Climate Change Forum at Steven's Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, The UN's Ocean Data Challenge in NYC, The Maritime Alliance Blue Tech Week in San Diego, the World Ocean Council's Summit in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada & G-STIC's (Global Scientific, Technology Innovation Conference) in Brussels, Belgium.
