In 2015, I started a Non-Governmental Organization called the 'Art of Giving' which focused on raising funds for underprivileged women, starting in a small town in India - a country where females are often denied education and seen merely as objects of the patriarchy. My sister and I worked at the intersection of fund-raising though art, activism and Indian culture. I have a strong passion for the arts; ranging from fine arts to design, and dance. I have had professional training in Kathak (Indian Classical) Dance for the past 15 years. After practicing daily, I received my sixth-year diploma: Sangit Prabhakar (equivalent to a bachelors degree) and use it to teach underprivileged children in my community.
