I was recently accepted into the Master's program at Tandon for part time and was looking for an opportunity to hone my skills while learning. As a Mechatronics engineer, I have had many different opportunities in the lab and in the field to use Python, MATLAB, C++, and ROS to complete varying robotics projects. I also have electronics experience by having built and coded many circuits and worked with breadboards in a number of my classes. I have experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes and am very familiar with a variety of electronics components. I have completed three rotations of a co-op with Mohawk Industries, which has prepared me for what is expected from engineers in a business setting. I have also worked as an engineering intern and assistant for various companies, including Georgia Tech and Scout Aerospace, all requiring different skillsets. Currently at Georgia tech, I am using MATLAB and Twincat simultaneously to read and direct robot movements using closed loop PID controls. I am also working on a senior project for United Alloy Corporation, working on a pick and place solution with a FANUC robot. It is very interesting to be working on both sensor-guided movements using algorithms and open/closed loop feedback controls, as well as the integrated PLC system already incorporated on the robot. I have a great deal of lab and hands on experience with engineering in business and in teams. I am able to multitask and complete many duties at a time. I believe that I will be an asset to your company because of my hardworking attitude, exceptional teamwork skills, leadership qualities, and organization skills. This job would provide me with the ideal opportunity to expand my knowledge and demonstrate my engineering skills. I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to being a part of the team. Thank you for the consideration. Sincerely, Kathryn Bharadwaj

I am a current Princeton University Electrical and Computer Engineering student. I'm hoping to apply the skills I'm learning to help develop solutions targeting climate change and mitigation. Previous experience in this area includes spending a year in a data scientist role for the Princeton Student Climate Initiative. During this period I worked on the development of numerous visualizations and analyses involving the calculation and prediction of the effects of a carbon tax policy in NJ.

I am an Energy and Environmental Engineering student. I will end my bachelor’s degree next year. I am passionate about decarbonizing the Energy Sector for many reasons. The biggest one being the fact that this sector is the one that most contributes to Green House Gases; (stats from World Data) to the climate crisis we are dealing right now. The projects I did outside off school energized me and gave me the needed tools and opportunities to develop skills that were lacking in my formal education. Making me a balanced and highly motivated candidate. I am eager to learn and to make an impact in the world as you can see from my

There is no better way to acknowledge that we need a more sustainable grid than looking from the oil and gas perspective itself. After working for more than four years for a power generation company focused on the oil & gas and mining sectors, I had the opportunity to see how loud, how dirty, and how inefficient the diesel and natural gas power modules can be, and especially how the fossil fuel thermal power generation process impacts the environment. I have seen the industry flaws and the harms they generate to humanity, and I saw from the inside.
I have successfully developed project management and technical skills by working for a multinational company as an Energy Proposal Engineer based on the knowledge acquired in my vast and relevant international academic experience at the University of San Francisco, Stanford University, Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano and Pearson College London.
I am currently attending Stanford University’s Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies program. I am gaining broad knowledge on battery storage, the economics of renewable energy and artificial intelligence applications on the grid. I am also attending evening classes at the University of San Francisco’s MS in Energy Systems Management, which gives students a broad knowledge of the energy industry, focusing on renewable assets management, finance, and economics. My high analytical skills and attention to detail, with strong presentation and communication soft-skills, turn me into a highly competitive applicant for this job position.
Wherever I go IÂ bring a diverse, multicultural background with years of experience in the academic and professional fields with innovative perspectives to clean and fossil-fueled energy project management. I am adaptable, data-driven, detail-oriented and a critical thinker, passionate about project development and energy analysis, working to mitigate climate change and increase the energy sector efficiency and resilience.

Graduating Electrical Engineering Student
Honolulu, HI, USA
Ever since I was a child, I understood the importance of being a good steward for the environment. My passion to study STEM and determination to help fight climate change led me to pursue a degree at the University of Hawaii in Electrical Engineering Systems with a concentration in energy. Through my studies in university and work experience at the STEM Pre-Academy and WSP, I continually refine my engineering skills such as circuit design, programming, and problem-solving. Putting these skills to use while I worked as a lab manager for the Renewable Energy Design lab in my third year of school was a rewarding experience. At the RED lab, I managed other engineering students as we worked on a smart hydroponics system that was implemented by STEM Pre-Academy to teach engineering and science to middle-school students. Currently, I am working on a Lithium-ion battery project with the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute (HNEI), where I am performing circuit design and programming to build a new type of Li-ion segmented cell that improves upon current battery technology. Project and work experience in RED Lab, STEM Pre-Academy, WSP, and HNEI motivate me to use my degree to build a career where I can make a difference in the future of our planet and inspire other young women to pursue electrical engineering.
