Hannah Crotty
Events Coordinator Somerville, MA, USA
I am a dedicated, creative communicator who leads with empathy in every area of my life, professional and personal. I am passionate about creating impactful experiences that build community and trust. I have experience working on events surrounding a wide variety of topics including entrepreneurship, documentary film, food innovation, racial inequality, student musicians, podcasts, and Boston sports. In my 5-9 you can find me crocheting, experimenting with new cocktails, exploring my neighborhood foot, and (in pre-Covid times) catching multiple concerts a week. I am actively seeking a role in events, communications, or marketing at an organization that believes that employee growth fuels company growth. If my experience and interests match up with an opportunity you're offering, please reach out!

Isaac Greenberg
Business Development Fellow Somerville, MA, USA
I am a current Business Development Fellow with Solstice, a community solar customer management and acquisition company dedicated to making solar energy accessible to all Americans. I attended Villanova’s Bartley School of Business with majors in Finance, Real Estate, and Management Information Systems (MIS). I have also volunteered in Costa Rica protecting sea turtles, hiked in parks across the U.S., worked to support families battling pediatric cancer, and consistently pushed myself to be greener through my actions and purchasing habits. I want to pursue a career at the intersection of my academic interests, my love for the natural world, and my drive to make the world a better place for all of life. My financial acumen has developed from variety of different project and coursework exposure. I have supported CMA services pricing and leveraged existing data from a variety of sources to size and project the size of the U.S community solar market. I have worked on valuation models ranging from basic DCF, direct capitalization of properties, blended DCFs, firm valuation, creation of investment financial statements, M&A, development proforma and debt securitization. I have modeled in excel, python, and ARGUS Enterprise certified. I am familiar with Visual Basics for Excel and I am always working to further develop my abilities in excel and VBA. Additionally, I completed an online course in Financial Modeling for Project Finance and am currently working on a personal Utility Scale Solar model. I trust in my modeling skills and more so in my ability to learn new techniques. Augmenting my financial modeling knowledge is my experience in problem solving and finding creative solutions. MIS is effectively the discipline of solving problems using technology, and at Solstice I have used a variety of systems to solve problems and create stronger, more resilient practices. I have learned how to clearly define and solve problems. I have built working workflows in Salesforce CRM, created a vendor in SAP ERP, and developed an AI Expert System prototype for solar pricing. The simpler and more effectively you can define a problem and the requirements of a system, the better your solution, reports, or knowledge will be. Such insight can then be leveraged using various technologies to great utility. I am keenly interested in the use of AI for both process mapping and risk analysis as it relates to financial assumptions and potential returns. I also enjoy the challenge of improving operations using technology and have worked extensively with Salesforce to this end at Solstice. I have experience working a variety of different tasks simultaneously. As HR Director for NOVAdance (a student organization at Villanova that fights pediatric cancer) I had to juggle team management, executive planning, setting up and running events, and any task that needed to be done. The position required flexibility, the ability to multitask and juggle different projects simultaneously, and clear and concise verbal and written communication. I am a team player and believe the best work comes from collaboration, but that one must be confident in their abilities as an individual. At Solstice, I have thrived in an ever-changing environment that challenges me to think across organizational sectors and find creative solutions to complex problems. The Business Development team touches all aspects of Solstice’s organization and is on the forefront of problem identification and cross-collaborative problem solving. This experience has been instrumental in my own development. Altogether, I believe I bring a strong mix of financial modeling knowledge augmented by strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively work both individually and as part of a team. I embrace problems that make me think and reevaluate what I think I know, and I love to learn and be proven wrong. I promise to always hustle, be honest and ask questions. We build a better tomorrow by striving to be our best selves today, and the problems of tomorrow cannot wait. I am dedicated to building a better, more sustainable world and will work tirelessly to this end.    Best, Isaac Greenberg

Frederick Copeman IV (He/His)
Desired role: Emissions Consultant, Sustainability Specialist Somerville, MA, USA
I am passionate about making the world a better place and I feel strongly that businesses have a vital role to play here through corporate social responsibility and environmental social governance. This is a passion which has driven me to study carbon emissions consulting at Harvard Extension and I hope to continue my studies with a CSR certificate program at Harvard Business school in the coming months. I’m deeply concerned about the climate crisis, but I also see tremendous opportunity for businesses to be at the heart of future climate solutions.  I think this year in particular marked a changing tide in corporate sustainability trends and I want to build a career in helping more businesses get serious about carbon reduction goals.  Not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because sustainability steps can build client and employee loyalty, can help a business get ahead of future regulations and can help build more efficient and profitable business practices.
