The Account Manager – Retail is instrumental to the growth and scale of Impossible Foods’ business in alignment with the corporate strategy. The Account Manager – Retail Sales will be the key day to day point of contact in managing customer relationships, develop & budget trade promotions, and achieve overall sales goals while collaborating closely on shopper marketing programs.

You Will:

  • Own the relationship with retail customers and work closely with our distributors to execute the retail plan:
  • Owns process, governance, and communication for the retail commercial plan and results
  • Develop and grow relationships across buyers at retailers to build the Impossible business. Work with our distributors, and business partners to support the business.
  • Define and implement account launch plans to drive sales, including initial trial, and meet both retailer and company expectations.
  • Understand customer business needs, and build short and long-term strategies to drive mutually helpful results.
  • Drive targets for distribution, planogram/visibility via perfect store
  • Manage the retail promotional strategy
  • Manage the trade spend budgets, promotion plans and improve customer profitability
  • Implement activities with the MarComms team including but not limited to: shopper marketing, digital/social media & influencer campaigns, growing awareness and sell-through with target demographics, and planning & deploying demos/sampling events
  • Be accountable for the retail forecast & performance across customers
  • Review customer performance & profitability
  • Define the annual bottom-up customer/channel plan to meet the targets
  • Customer/channel review: monitor KPIs
  • Develop Impossible Foods’ sales reporting capabilities, with a particular focus on the retail grocery business including owning KPI dashboards and performing critical sales data analytics
  • Sales & marketing planning briefings and business reviews

You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a college or university.
  • Min. 2-3 years of FMCG/food retail channel experience in Hong Kong
  • A genuine interest and passion for Impossible Food's mission
  • Be able to use market data analysis tools such as AC Nielsen/retail scan data and have basic retail finance understanding
  • Trade spend and marketing budget management experience
  • Proven success working independently and navigating in an ever changing and exciting/multifaceted high growth environment.
  • A positive attitude and drive to excel.
