What will I be doing?

Delivery Managers play a vital part in Kaluza; they are part of Platform Operations and the central programme team, which is responsible for client services and for cross-squad delivery of strategic objectives. As Kaluza expands globally, delivery managers will be essential in meeting ever more diverse regulatory and industry requirements. The delivery manager provides the structure to coordinate autonomous teams and bring to bear the value of each team’s outputs to the desired outcome. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Kicking off and defining the initiative by working closely with the core team
  • Agreeing and owning governance by which the deliveries are managed
  • Working with the team to ensure all vital roles and responsibilities are defined and understood (e.g. RACI model)
  • Owning the delivery plan and eliciting activities required from contributing teams
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are aware of progress, risks, blockers and keeps everyone passionate about the objective(s)
  • Agreeing activity across the plan is owned and there is a documented ‘definition of done’
  • Providing regular progress updates to the business
  • Identifying and removing blockers through facilitation to enable the earliest delivery of value
  • Managing priorities as new requests/requirements come into the platform from the client, industry, or legislation

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you will have/be:

  • Multiple years’ experience of delivering change across a number of teams, whether as a project, product, or programme manager
  • Worked as or closely with business analysts; comfortable with requirements gathering and process analysis
  • Comfortable working at team level at a task detail level and at executive level by providing summaries and key information
  • A track record delivering a range of initiatives across product development, compliance, technical and  customer experience changes
  • Demonstrable ability to respond to change and maintain a highly agile mindset insofar as the earliest possible delivery of value
